On the morning of December 21, after receiving instructions from China Minmetals Corporation and MCC to assist Minhe County, Qinghai Province in disaster relief, China MCC17 immediately established an emergency support team for earthquake relief headed by the Company's Deputy General Manager Zhou Jinlong to lead managers and construction workers from northwest companies and the Gansu Branch rushed to assist in the construction of post-disaster resettlement sites in Minhe County, Qinghai Province. At 20:30 that evening, all managers and construction workers arrived at the disaster relief site. After the first batch of aid materials and work machines were in place, the construction began immediately.

Thanks to the hard work of the whole team and all the workers, at 1:00 on December 22, the team completed the installation of 20 sets of prefabricated portable dwellings at the No. 1 Resettlement Site of Minhe County Lajia Village. At 4:30 on December 22, the installation of 22 sets of prefabricated portable dwellings at the No. 3 Resettlement Site in Guandong Village was completed. At 11:40 on December 22, the installation of 20 sets of prefabricated portable dwellings at the No. 2 Resettlement Site of Baojia Village was completed. At 16:30 on December 22, the first batch of 20 sets of prefabricated portable dwellings at the No. 1 Resettlement Site in Lajia Village, Minhe County was delivered. The first batch of affected people took over the keys of their new homes and carried their bags to move in. Due to the scattered location of the affected people and inconvenient transportation, the team went to remote resettlement sites such as Hongya Village, Tuanjie Village, Minzhu Village, and Weijiashan Village to build the remaining 28 sets of prefabricated portable dwellings. By 20:27 on December 22, 100 sets of prefabricated portable dwellings had all been built.

Considering the Minhe people's living problems under the alpine climate and material shortage, while purchasing and installing prefabricated portable dwellings, China MCC17 purchased the first batch of 100 heating stoves, 10 tons of coal, 100 kettles, 200 bags of coal, 30 quilts, 70 coats, drinking water, and other daily necessities, which arrived in Minhe County at 20:30 on December 21. On December 22, the team purchased 300 folding beds, 380 quilts, 380 sets of sheets and pillows, 200 washbowls, 100 basin racks, and 100 smoke alarms. The second batch of relief supplies arrived at the scene at 14:00 on December 22. At 15:00 on December 23, after the completion of the aid task, the team donated the third batch of relief materials, including 250 bags of flour, 100 bags of rice, and 400 barrels of edible oil, to the local government and distributed them to the affected people. The first batch of villagers have moved into their new homes, where they can be warm for the winter.
